There are no enrollment, registration or costume fees for classes. Tuitions are paid month to month, due the first day of each month. To enroll contact CCJB directly by calling our studio at (435)867-4719 or by email at You are welcome to stop by our studio any time after 5:30 pm.

Students are asked to attend class wearing either black or pink leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes. Hair must be worn tightly in a ballet bun.

For tuition payments can be paid online or in person. Use the PayPal button at the bottom of this page to pay online by selecting the appropriate class. Please note, however, there is a small fee for paying online to cover the processing fees of our online platform. To pay in person you can stop by our studio with cash or a check made out to Cedar City Junior Ballet. There is no fee associated with paying in person. We ask that when paying in person you complete all information listed on the payment envelope. Payments can be left in an envelope and ropped into the office door slot.

Pre-Primary classes teach students to develop good dance posture, physical skills, musicality and technique using a wide range of movement designed to transition beginning students into ballet and other dance genres.

Pre-Pointe classes teach classical ballet with a focus on developing pointe work in preparation to go en pointe. Students continue to strengthen muscles focusing on alignment and developing correct technique.

Beginning Pointe

Monday and Thursday
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
$90 / month (2 classes per week)

Proper readiness must be achieved before advancing to beginning pointe. Dancers must develop core strength, have developed proper rotation and alignment as well as balance. Students are taught basic pointe work with exercises emphasizing leg strength, feet and ankles in addition to core, rotation, alignment and balance.

Teen/Adult Ballet

7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
$60 / month

A class for adults with or without prior ballet experience. This class will take dancers through an hour of a classical ballet barre and center work, stressing proper technique and placement. (Children from ages 8-up considered on individual basis)

5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Thursday (placement required) 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
$70 / month (2 classes per week with placement])

Primary classes improve coordination and give students a basic understanding of classical ballet technique. Classes include basic barre work, students are taught a variety of dance steps and patterns focusing on correct muscle use and placement.

Inter-mediate & Advanced with Pointe

Tuesday and Friday
6:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
$110 / month (2 classes per week)

Previous ballet training encouraged. Dancers develop solid technique, demonstrate barre exercises with speed and accuracy and process intricate steps and combinations that teach development of artistry, discipline and musicality. A continuation of correct placement is taught in order to prevent injury.
