KAYLEE MELESSA (22) Kaylee began dancing nine years ago and discovered a love for the beauty, fluidity, and elegance ballet encompasses. Kaylee performed as Clara’s friend in The Nutcracker and dreams of dancing the lead role of Snow White in a ballet adaptation one day. When Kaylee isn’t in the studio, she can be found playing piano, a talent showcased in the Miss Iron County Pageant, where she was awarded the overall talent winner two years in a row. After Cinderella, Kaylee looks forward to graduating from SUU with a double major in psychology and communications and beginning her Disney College Program in Florida.

AMELIA RANDALL (13) Amelia began dancing when she was four years old. Nine years later, she continues to love the costumes worn in each performance. She has performed in several productions but really enjoyed her role as an Oof in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Amelia dreams of performing the Russian Dance in The Nutcracker. When she isn’t in the studio or on stage, Amelia loves art, particularly drawing. When Cinderella concludes, Amelia looks forward to a regular ballet schedule with a little break on Saturdays.

MARLENE SLEIGHT (28) Marlene is familiar with several of CCJB’s productions, often working backstage or playing the role of an Oof in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, however, with six months of dancing, she will be performing the role of the Haughty Stepsister in this year’s production of Cinderella, something she never anticipated. While Marlene doesn’t have a particular dream role in mind, she is happy to perform with Lynnette Imlay in any capacity. Marlene loves making connections with people and seeing the finished product of everybody’s hard work. When production wraps, Marlene looks forward to relaxing and having some downtime.

ALIA WALKER (13) Alia began dancing when she was two years old. Eleven years later, she continues ballet where she can express how she feels. Alia is proud of her hard work and dedication to her craft, which has allowed her to dance on pointe. Alia has performed several roles throughout her time on stage including Clara’s sister, Angel, Soldier, Flower, and Spanish in The Nutcracker. Her dream role is to perform Dewdrop in The Nutcracker one day. After Cinderella, Alia looks forward to more dancing, including competition dance.

CHARLOTTE WOOD (15) Charlotte stepped into the ballet studio when she was only three years old. Twelve years later, she continues to love this art form, allowing her to express herself. Charlotte has performed the Arabian Dance and Chinese Dance in The Nutcracker, the Dizzy Fairy in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and is proud to dance the role of Autumn Fairy in Cinderella just as her sister, Maddy, performed five years ago. Charlotte’s dream role is to dance as Giselle in Giselle. After Cinderella, Charlotte is eager to begin rehearsal for CCJB’s newest production Danse Macabre.

MADDY WOOD (21) Maddy began dancing at age three. She has performed various roles in her eighteen years of dancing from Autumn Fairy in Cinderella to Mother Ginger and Mouse Queen in The Nutcracker. Her dream ballet role is to dance as Odile in Swan Lake. Maddy recently served a mission for her church and is now enrolled at SUU. She also worked diligently to regain graceful ballet techniques and skills to share the beauty of this art form with others. After Cinderella, Maddy looks forward to a week of rest and recovery before directing CCJB’s 2026 production of The Nutcracker.
